Human motricity

This is a celebration of the body—both physical and spiritual—defined by movement as the driving force behind an intricate mechanism. Here, the individual is merely a single link connecting with the surroundings, with others, and with the earth to give rise to a living entity that breathes and feels. Miguel Valverde’s work presents a piece that, through the impact of color and form, compels us to rethink our identity as we rediscover the organic quality inherent in being human.
The walls radiate a powerful energy, imbuing the depicted figures with a commanding personality born of apparent simplicity; the ordinary is transformed into a celebration when viewed in a new light—one that reclaims the attention we so often lose to the routine of autopilot existence.
The building’s striking interior contrasts with the prevailing minimalism of its surroundings—where a stark, desert-like simplicity takes center stage—making it impossible for the visitor to remain detached from the scene. The details and indistinct features of the mural’s figures allow us to identify with them despite their anonymity, stirring a sense of resolve within us as we—small in scale—confront their imposing presence.
